ABOUT ME

I'm a Anthropology/History student who has put off travel for far too long and is only now beginning to spread her feet and see the world! I love learning about other cultures and obscure yet fascinating elements of history (I'm particularly interested in women and silent cinema). All in all, I'm a very relaxed, somewhat bubbly individual!

Couchsurfing in Atlanta - very fun, had an amazing time.

Intereses

I'm interested in history, in particular popular culture and Australian history (women in silent cinema esp.) I love drawing, singing, laughing and being silly at times. I wish I could sew and speak other languages!

I also like a good film, my favourites are Inside Llewyn Davis and the Pianist. Some of my favourite books include Cloudstreet and High Fidelity. I enjoy listening to the Strokes, the Kooks, the Arctic Monekys, Rachel Goodrich, San Cisco and the Killers.

When random people actually reciprocate when you drive past on the bus and smile and wave. It gives me hope that you can make a person smile with such a simple and honest gesture!

I would love to learn the German language and how to sew! I suppose I could teach people how to play guitar, perhaps how to sketch, whatever they'd like.
