Hi there!

Thanks for reading my profile first of all!
Let me introduce myself- I’m a 24 y/o Dutchie with a big heart for traveling. I’ve been traveling for over 6 years now! I’ve been home a few times but not longer than a few months. I did a working holiday in Australia for a year and I fell in love with this country. I did a little trip to Asia and then came back to Australia and then I went to New Zealand. Amazing place as well! After that I made may way to Mexico and then down to Central America. After this I flew to Canada for summer and met wonderful people here and worked for a few months. I lived with Veronica and her family I met through couchsurfing. Still can’t believe I got to stay with them for 4 months!

At the beginning of 2024 I went to South America untill the end of May when I ended in Costa Rica. In Summer I started a new continent and traveled a bit through Africa which was amazing! After that I did some places in the Middle East and then went home over land through Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Germany. I worked at home for 3 months and hit the road again late January 2025 to go to South East Asia. It’s been a blast being back here for 6 months and I’ve just made it back to Australia, where my real backpacking adventure began in 2022. It feels SO good to be back! Visiting friends and doing roadtrips again! Started in Darwin to visit my friends and my old work and just came to Broome through the Gib River Rd and now I’m looking forward to meet new people here and figure out if I want to work and stay here for a bit! Although hostels are a great way to meet people, most of them are very crowded and too much party which is why I’m more interested in staying with people who live here! That’s why I want to use couchsurfing again in Australia!

In case you wanna know my hobbies, I’ve got a looot!: hiking, running, cycling, cooking, chasing sunsets, dancing, camping, watching the stars, roadtripping, laughing a looooot, and of courseee: traveling!!

I would love to meet new people and I think this could work well. Also I’m really done with staying in hostels with so many other people. It makes me pretty overwhelmed. But I’m always happy to meet others!

I listen to any type of music but mostly love pop, country, some techno, Latin music and other top 40 songs! My favorite is Latin music tho! It makes me so happy! I think I only don’t really like high techno or opera that much but even that I could listen to for a bit!

Travel across the world by myself when I turned 18 because it completely changed my life!

I would love to learn more about other countries, traditions, cultures, animals, history, food etc! I love traveling because it made me the person I am right now. Learning new things every single day makes me so happy! I could teach you some Dutch words cause our language is just hilariously difficult (even for me)!😂
