ABOUT ME

I am a cheerful, outgoing, helpful person who loves to experience new and amazing things and meet interesting people. Sometimes I am too serious because I like to analyze things and to take a control in several situations.

I have a master degree in the technology of chemistry and now I am a PhD student of material science. Currently I am working as a biomaterial researcher at Riga Technical University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have too small flat (one room) to host someone, that's why I am not a very active user here. But sometimes when I'm traveling I do use the opportunity to search for some hospitality.

But I do live in the capital of Latvia, so maybe we can meet for coffee or tee. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not have much of experience in Couch Surfing, but I do think that this is a great opportunity to get to know people from all over the world and to learn many interesting and amazing things about other culture.

Interests

I don't want to bind myself with one particular thing that's why I do not have a real hobby, but I do LOVE to try many different new things and always to LEARN something from that.
One of the most important interests for me certainly is to spend time with my FRIENDS and FAMILY.
I love to TRAVEL and gain new experiences, emotions and friends. Work gives me the opportunity to travel and I try to get most of it.
To make my life even more interesting occasionally I like to do something more EXTREME than usual daily things, like skydiving, parasailing, bungee jumping.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen every kind of music, don't have one favorite style, usually it depends from the mood and things I'm doing at the moment.

I love movies with wine :) so, even a bad movie becomes watchable. Most of all I like movies that make me stop for a while and think... do not adore sci-fi and horror.

I have to read many scientific papers during my work and studies that's why reading is not an activity I choose to do in my free time, but sometimes I do read something someone has suggested me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving - loved it and want to do it again :)
