I enjoy hosting especially very much! I love having the ambiance of a temporary presence in my house.

To be able to accomplish a personal connection with the people I meet, I prefer people traveling alone, and staying for at least 2-3 nights.

· Music: I am a composer and write music professionally. I play the piano for fun and sing in a choir that specialises in (Belgian) contemporary classical music. I take classes in soundpainting (both playing and painting).
· Mental health: I am active as a lived experience worker in mental health care. I have experience with mental health problems and recovery. I work as a patient representative, I give testimonials and workshops on recovery and resilience to diverse audiences, among other freelance activities. I am also in general interested in psychiatric care, mentalising, and the recovery movement.
· Journaling, self work and self-awareness
· Creativity (I'm currently doing the program in The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, for which I gathered a creative cluster: a group of people doing the program together), creative therapy, and exploring and widening my practice as an artist beyond contemporary classical music.
· Sewing: I alternate between following sewing patterns and designing my own projects.
· Hitchhiking (36000+ km through Western Europe and author of the guide 'hitchhiking like a girl'), although I almost stopped hitchhiking since I started working (and earned enough money to start taking trains and plane while having less time to travel).
· Nuance, nuance, nuance. Perspective, perspective, perspective. Some people call this ' perspectivistic flexibility'.
