ABOUT ME

Simply being!

That's it... really!

Living on the edge of the unknown, sometimes long journeys to places and spaces (unknown to me) because I feel a calling, other times its just a matter of turning right on an intuition instead of my 'planned' left turn. A wanderer and dreamer by heart. To the world it might seem restless, to me I am 'home'.

I am extremely independent and free spirited(!)(and last minute...) I don't burden others with expectations and likewise I don't do well with expectations put on me either...

There is a time for everything, a time to be still and a time to act. A time to speak and a time to listen. A time to dance on tables and a time to sit still. The challenge is to know when to do what...

And know where to be when, the rest will follow...

Not to interfere with my own life, it truly knows better...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted the first seven months or so, but since I have now left Denmark, unfortunately I have no couch to offer, I might be up for a coffee or drink where ever I am though :)

When it comes to hosting and surfing, I have a natural honest respect for peoples private sphere/space and homes. As a surfer I know when to be invisible and when to be present. As a host, it is important to me the surfer feels 'at home' and can come and go as what is natural to them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If I could offer a couch, my home is your home. Hosting is to me a meeting place for people to cross paths, a window to the world... For surfing couches, I've been offered a range of different couches throughout the world and met truly wonderful people all along the way a lot with whom I'm still in touch with.

I am deeply interested in everything creative that has the heart and soul involved. I'm always curious about simplicity, paradoxes and the mystery of our existence. Answers I find in the timeless energetic resonance beyond the personal framework of the at times limiting mind.

When on a walkabout; drifting and dreaming for hours watching oceans, mountains and the sky is among my favorite things.

Books: I don't know anymore... used to read 1 - 2 a week.
Two books though I constantly return to:
Fragmenter af en Dagbog (Fragments of a Diary) by Paul La Cour
Astonishing the Gods by Ben Okri
And Douglas Adams, the whole lot

Movies: Don't know that either anymore...

Music: depends on the mood; one big confusing mix of electronic, lounge, trip hop, funk, soul/blues, classic, trad. Irish... 'dark slow air haunting notes' and great beats....
