I think that while surfing or hosting a couch, you not only get a place to sleep but to know the native people, their culture, which is gives a holistic view of the specific region or country. This excites me a lot as we have an opportunity to make friends with total different background. In all not only travelling but exploring new friends and learning and teaching something to each other.
