HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host whenever I can and try to surf as much as possible when I travel. I don't think of CSing as a free place to stay - I think of it as an experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed all over and met tons of great people. Unfortunately I haven't lived in many places capable of hosting, but someday I'll settle down...

Umm... I've worked with elderly, mentally handicapped, children, refugees, farmers, students, athletes; been a basketball coach, a volleyball coach, a surf instructor, kind of a Tai Chi instructor; learned to skateboard, ride a motorcycle, play guitar, train in Muay Thai, golf, tennis, rock-climb; I've read a lot of world literature, traveled around a bit; studied every religion, politics, philosophy, conflict resolution (have a master's degree in this). I pretty much try to understand as many facets of life as possible in order to connect with as many people as possible. I'd rather learn than teach, but I am willing to share...
