I'm a warm and sociable type with many passions, especially music, food, cooking, dancing, art, politics, urbanism, psychology, philosophy... I'm coming back to Europe after a long stint away and on the lookout for adventure and good vibes. We're moving on from the pandemic, people, let's reconnect!

I love going out or staying in sharing laughs and good conversation over a good meal or drinks, chatting about everything from culture and politics to life, people, society and much else. I love music and dancing too, especially to deep or minimal house and techno.

I love exploring cities by discovering the hidden back alleys, local art galleries and neighbourhood gems where the tourists don't tread. I love enjoying a good coffee and a good book on a terrasse in the summer and watching the people go by.

I love exploring new places and cultures through its locals. I like things that are authentic and unpretentious, and people who are open-minded, welcoming and warm.

And I love big friendly dogs! =D haha

MUSIC

I'm mostly into electronic genres, but I like a bit of most genres - jazzy sounds, instrumental, new wave, indie, hip hop, latino or international sounds and... even more when there's a remix. =p

FILMS

Mostly international or independent and docs. Some faves: La Grande Bellezza, Youth, Pina, I Heart Huckabees, Laurence Anyways, Les Amours Imaginaires (and most things by Xavier Dolan), Before Sunset, Almodóvar in general...

BOOKS

The kind that last. Some recent and older faves are by: Irvin Yalom, Jamie O'Neill, Alan Hollinghurst, Michael Cunningham, Alain de Botton, Don De Lillo, Dostoyevsky. I also read non-fiction from time to time (philosophy, politics, psychology, history), but I'm mostly into fiction these days. I'm always open to new suggestions!

Barranquilla carnaval in a house full of dozens of CSers who came from around the world to party. Epic.

I lived in Cairo for 6 months too, that was pretty nuts.

I'm sure there are way more stories I'm forgetting. A few drinks usually help me remember. ;)

I can teach you my languages, English et français. You can teach me or help me with yours, especially if it's Spanish. Vivía en México hace unos años pero no he estado practicando suficiente, ¡tengo que hablar más!

I can also teach you ALL about my home, beautiful Montréal, and about Québec and Canada.

We can have exciting chats about fixing the world up too, cuz it's not going so well these days...

We can exchange our cooking skills and secrets, and I can teach you some yoga moves too, if that's your thing.
