ABOUT ME

My name has Filipino origins and Ligaya actually means 'happiness'. I really want to thank my parents for giving me this name!

If I would try to describe myself (wow this really requires the ability for some self-reflection... hihi..) I can say I am a cheerful person. I love to meet new people and learn more from others and their experiences.

At this moment I am almost graduating (MSc Psychology) and so I have to look for a decent job soon... I play the flute, I love reading and I enjoy going out for parties :)

Although we all try to achieve our wants, wanting something is different from being unhappy about not having it! Every time I get unhappy, I do so because of my beliefs. At the moment that I feel unhappy, I believe that this has a function. Most of the time I am not instantly aware of this belief. So by examining the reasons and beliefs I have, I realize that I can alter this belief and decide to be happy.

Two years ago I went sky-diving. For me, this is really an amazing experience that I will never forget!
