One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We rode up the Himalayan mountains on two Royal Enfield motorcycles a couple of years ago. We had been having a tough time in India - food poisoning, altitude sickness, the worst monsoons the region had seen in over 30 years - but there was this one glorious morning where everything fell into place. The weather was perfect and the scenery revealed itself slowly as we climbed up the mountains. Everything was so new and exciting to us. We've never seen mountains that large before and the views above and below were breathtaking! Of course, it didn't last long. Landslides near the top of the Rohtang Pass meant that we had to turn back in the afternoon. But for a few hours, we had experienced the most beautiful sights we had ever seen.
