ABOUT ME

First of all I am a very patient person. Outgoing and open-minded. Sometimes I like doing some weird stuff. Interested in music, art and all that jazz. I might be little bit cynical with that right amount of self-criticism.

PHILOSOPHY

If I were to sum it up in one word I would say "lightloop". It's about being optimistic and everchanging as light.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have shared the experiences with my friends who have traveled and hosted people. I have hosted six cs friends and liked it very much.

Interests

Music, swimming, juggling, art, capoeira.

I produce and record my own music (www.soundcloud.com/lightloop), Sometimes I play dj sets. In the future I would like to take on new art studies as I am interested in graphics and design.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very keen on music. I not only create music myself ( i have self-released couple of concept albums) but also I have a nice collection of idm vinyls. I've become who I am now through music (playing it, enjoying the parties, organizing events). Some of my friends are djs, producers or promoters.

I like reading a lot, especially XXth century American novels. Kurt Vonnegut, Aldous Huxley, Stanisław Witkiewicz, Stanisław Lem are among my favourite writers.

Recently I had bought super8 analog camera and started making my own short movies. (:
I like movies that ask interesting questions and challenge our perceptions and beliefs.
For instance I like movies from such directors as Jodorowsky, Kubrick, Kurosawa, Lynch, Jarmusch, Polański, Coen brothers...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized student's exchanges for three years as a SEO for IPSF. During this period of time more than 100 people from around the globe have visited Poland and I was responsible for overseeing it (please remember that it was in times when there was no couchsurfing yet and and access to the internet wasn't that easy as it is today, also socrates-erasmus program wasn't that well known in those years, so IPSF's program was great opportunity for pharmacy students to visit other countries and practice there)

Teach, Learn, Share

If I could teach you something that would be great. I am going to learn from you for sure (:
I could teach you programming basics in max/msp which is a great programming environment for artists (but not only).
Also I know basics of programming in processing which is great graphic and visual application.
I know a bit about electronic music and sound design, and could share it too.
