About Me

CURRENT MISSION

reach a power level over 8000

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28-year old pizza princess, currently crazy for body weight training, design, good (!) coffee, space cowboys, West Village jazz and big city lights. Son Goku is the love of my life and I've had a crush on beautiful films and a good (manga-) read for as long as I can remember. I started traveling on my own a few years ago and each trip, no matter how long or short, has been an irreplaceable, priceless experience. I love meeting all sorts of strangers along the way, learn from them and let them widen my seemingly broad, yet sometimes very tiny and narrow horizon.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy. Love life. / Losing is winning. Always. / Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Weep, and you'll weep alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I come, I surf. I leave, I host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe in the kindness of strangers. Couchsurfing has proven me right so far.

Interests

The better you look, the more you see (BEE - Glamorama).

Music, Movies, and Books

You will find me at the bar on 96th Floor of the John Hancock Center Building, wearing Manolo Blahniks, sipping cocktails and feeling oh-so-fabulous or you will find me walking on the streets with my Yeezies on (one of my most loyal travel partners because I walk a hella lot), always listening to music and trying to come up with a cool vogue move. I believe that vaporwave is the sound of our future, that Kanye West is the greatest artist resting or alive and that Pink Floyd secretly composed the background music to my life.

I'm a real foodie and love and appreciate a good (Illy) coffee, boston creme donuts and Neapolitan pizza. I love eating food while watching movies, preferably directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, David Lynch, or Lars von Trier, but good series & animated movies are also very much appreciated :-)

My reading habits have been changing constantly and I'm going back and forth between reading a lot and not reading at all. I try to read the newspaper to keep on track with politics and the world on a daily though but when I feel like I get caught up, I switch the paper for a book by Harari, Max Frisch or Hang Kang. Short stories published in the New Yorker or well researched journalist pieces are also very much loved. Analyzing hip hop lyrics and catching up with podcasts has been something I invested a lot of time in lately and it's been an amazing way to learn new and complex things in a short period of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last night in Chicago would not be the memory it is today if it wasn’t for driving on W Jackson Blvd with tears in my eyes and “Street Lights” by Kanye West blasting through the speakers.

One of the most amazing, visual experiences I have ever had, right after coming back from a magical trip to Prague, thinking things couldn't get any better: AKIRA.

Teach, Learn, Share

Gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused. And I basically get lost the whole time, so please be good with maps.

Edit: I wrote that back in 2014. I use google maps now, so I'm fine :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Munich insights, travel stories, food tips and all that jazz :-) You know the drill but at the end of the day, it depends on the chemistry between couchsurfers that determine what we can really learn from one another :-) But if there's anything you'd like to know about marketing, history, life theories and the art of the Yeezy ... I got you covered :-) Also, I love talking about music, art, manga and movies, like, literally, I LOVE doing that!!! Talk with me about Dragon Ball at your own risk (you have been warned) :-P
