I'm a beijing local, my parents, grand-parents, grand grand parents are/were beijingers. So i'm familiar with bj culture and bj snacks. Most important, i know most bj streets, roads, buses, so i dont lose my way in this city.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

1, I know this web from 2008, to improve my English in CS monday meeting which is 20km from my home, i still remember i have to catch the last metro to back. Moreover, hang out with travelers in Beijing.
2, I start to travel in 2010, to save the money, were couched in Europe many times. Thanks for my every host!
3, I start to host people in the end of 2012. I lived with my mum then, for parents, they dont like open to home to others. I persuaded my mum that i will take her to travel in the next year, so you should open our home firstly for exchanging:)
4, After working several years, i travel but not have to find a couch for saving money. I like to host and be hosted, to talk with travelers and locals, to know what is other countries people life, to let others know a normal BJ citizen.

Football is my favorite and I have match in every weekend. ASROMA is my favorite, so if you are fans of Lazio, you are not welcomed. If you want to enjoy my city soccer game, plz go to the worker's stadium which is the best atomsphere at China, highly recommanded.

I like swim and keep fit, kill time in the fitting room.

After changing previous busy job, i begin to learn spanish. After travel all Europe, my next ambition is South America.

It's close on every monday and the 40,000 tickets will be released before 7 days. Refresh at that website from 20:00 China time, normally reserved out in 5 minutes.. Yes 5 minutes.

2024 July Update by Anna experience, Although there is a ticket control (probably only for domestic tourists), foreigners can go to the ticket office directly without reservation. No worry when you can not reserve and pay on line before 7 days.

Badaling Great Wall:
By Public bus 877, from De sheng men (6:00-12:30), close to Ji shui tan metro line 2, 12 Chinese Yuan in one way (1.5hrs) or 6 Yuan with transport card. Just 2 stops, De sheng men and Badaling Great wall.
By train, go to the national train web, https://www.12306.cn/en/index.html, input "beijing" "badaling" to search the train. You will find 2 stations, one is from Beijingbei (this is Xizhimen metro 2/4/13), the other is from Qinghe (this is Qinghe metro 13/Changping line). Most traveller choose Beijingbei, except you live in the super northwest area.

In China, if you don't have a mobile phone to pay, everything will become very difficult, such as paying, taking a taxi, taking the subway, booking tourist attractions, and so on. Therefore, it is recommended that you download WeChat and Alipay before coming to China, and bind your visa/mastercard. Although the cards of these two credit card organizations cannot be used in most scenarios, try them. As of July 2023, I have a guest who has successfully paid for the bus and site tickets by using Alipay, which is bind to Visa, but cannot purchase a SIM card from a telecommunications shop .So for foreigners, please bring some cash, preferably in small value. Because in most scenarios, Chinese do not have cash on them.
