ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old law student studying in San Diego, California. This summer I will be studying in London for a few weeks. Then I am meeting with a friend at the end of the term to explore the world and to cross a few things off our bucket lists.

I enjoy sharing good conversation over a cup of coffee. Sending and receiving hand written letters. Long jogs through pretty parks. Yoga, hiking, camping, wine, and my dog Jude.

I enjoy a wide variety of music but I love the Beatles so much I named my dog "Hey Jude."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most humbling experiences I have had in my 25 years of life happened several years ago on the Puget Sound in Washington State. A pod of orca whales came into the bay my family and I lived on and stayed for several weeks. Hundreds of people took their boats out to view the whales everyday. My family however, didn't own a boat, but merely a tiny canoe. So one day we ventured out onto the bay to see the whales right before sunset. It was beautiful to see these massive mammals swim, breach, and flick their fins. Some of them were coming up for air next to our canoe. I probably could have reached out and touched them. We stayed out on the bay until after sunset and paddled back to shore at night with only the sound of the whales swimming along side the canoe.
