Now that I get to travel alone, after my children are grown enough, I want to try a new way of traveling and visit places.

I will travel now in Switzerland (mostly) by foot, so I will be (mostly) staying only one night at each place.
I want the tour to be environmental friendly 🌱, so I use my own towel and linen (no point on washing after only one nights use).

Staying with locals makes sense in this kind of traveling, so I am trying it out!

I love nature, hiking, meeting new places and people.

I also love to cook, so will gladly prepare dinner if wished.

Music, Movies, and Books

love music, movies and books.

Music: Jazz, classical, bossa nova, pop… almost all kinds really. Depends on the mood, place, time, and company!
Miles David, cello and piano concerts, Caetano Veloso, Radiohead, and sooooo many more.

Movies: again I enjoy almost all kinds, besides violent ones. Not a fan of fantasy, but like a lot sci-fi (Blade runner, mad max, dune). My favorites are more graphic slow movies (not easy to explain), a bit like theater plays in screen (The humans as an example). Corny sunday films are also on the list of course 😊

Books: so many to list here. Too many. Different style of books were so important in different life-phases.
Stories that at some point of life made so much meaning!
Others are timeless, Song of Achilles, Oracle night, The catcher in the rye,… I also hear audiobooks, and like to read/ listen in different languages. It helps a lot in simultaneous reading, not to mix stories, if you know what I mean 😉
