I love travelling and meeting locals, and couchsurfing seems like a great way to do it! I haven't done it before, heard lots of good things from mates who had so thought I'd give it a go. Would be keen to pay it forward too and offer a place to stay once I'm back in the UK.

Enjoy lots of different music, depending on mood and situation, varying from indie/alternative rock to chilled out singer songwriter stuff to hip hop, old school soul, blues and jazz, folky stuff, classical piano, ambient electronic... etc.

Some all time favs include Beatles, Queen, Pavement, Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem. Favourite singers Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Tom Waits, Kurt Vile, Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Hope Sandoval.

Film wise... Tarantino, Sofia Coppola, Amelie, Sin City, Drive, Wish I Was Here, Captain Fantastic, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, Control...

It might not sound that amazing but moving to London when I was 19 years old felt pretty exciting, definitely one of the best decisions I ever made.
