Interrail trip through south west Europe with our 3-year old daughter.

ABOUT ME

We are a small family of three; Malena (3 years old), Jonas and Hanna (both 28 years old). We live in a community with 12 adults and 3 children in the countryside close to Kassel, where we grow food in our garden, make a lot of music and enjoy life.
Jonas is a professional violinist and I am a custom tailor and thai masseur.
We love to travel, although most the time we sooner or later end up in Lisbon, because half of Jonas family lives there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm traveling I surf couches if possible, it's the best way to really get to know a country, to learn about the people. It's a much more personal way to travel and a great opportunity to meet special people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met awesome people, never experienced so much generosity and hospitality. Got to know other sides of myself, interacting with all these different people, all of them special in their own way.

Interests

Traveling to hidden places, escape civilization... We love to be outside by bike or just walk in nice places, meet interesting people in other countries.
We are really interested in Permaculture and self sustainability

Music, Movies, and Books

We like so many of different kinds of music, it would be impossible to list them all here. We also like to read a good book or watch a movie occasionally but since we have a little daughter, that’s not very often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing a mountain in Iceland and suddenly having this endless far view over the highlands, start to walk and after a while you hear nothing but absolute silence. I've never felt closer to nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

Jonas can share violin or guitar skills and I can share massages or massage techniques and different kinds of needlework techniques. We also like to share stories about our earlier hitchhiking experiences and love to listen to your travel stories.
