Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to recent developments regarding CoronaVirus we will not host until further notice.

My husband and I do not travel too often but we like to be hosts and share a taste of peasant life with our guests. Yet, if we don't have time to socialize , we will not host, and as of late, it appears there are many people who believe this website is about finding a free bed and free meals and drinks. So if you are only looking for a place to sleep and free meals while you're in the area, save our time and yours also and don't send requests.
Also, we will NOT host you/stop hosting you even if we previously agreed to if:
- you are sick or have symptoms of sickness
- you are unable/unwilling to provide for your meals/drinks if your eating habits are different from ours
- you are inconsiderate towards the rules of the house and behave as if you were in a hotel
- you are not sensitive to our style, preferences, and schedule

We prefer people with some references and completed profiles and photos, so if you don't have any of that you will get "No" without explanation.

Also if you are writing requests for more than one person, include the other person's CS profile link because we don't host people about whom we know nothing.

Yes, we've had some bad experiences with hosting but hey, apart from that, if you have interesting experiences to share, you are most welcome! Do dare! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

In Bucharest we have a bedroom available in our apartment and we like to make our guests feel comfortable in our home. If you like Romanian cuisine, the better - we cook at home! :)
