We are Lil and Jak a couple from England. We commenced a 9 month career break in January 2018, visiting India, Nepal, Malawi, Uganda, Ethiopia, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Columbia.

I have couchsurfed around Europe, also have used the site to go to meetups and meet awesome locals and felllow travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the best experiences have been surfing at locals homes and met the most generous and inspiring people. We also keen to host when we are settled.

I enjoy life, people, food, books, animals, cycling, running, music, theatre, comedies. Whether it is travelling around the world not knowing where I will be in 2 days, with the constant flow of interesting people and exciting places, living out of a backpack, not knowing what day it is, trying the local beers and eating things I couldn't even name. Also, being able to chill out, slow down, earn some pennies, have a glass of wine and a movie night, cooking and baking. I love music, art, films, walking in the country, just appreciating life and the beautiful world we live in

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Watching the sun rise over Gunung Bromo in Java, Indonesia. It was one of those moments that my eyes couldn't believe that what I was seeing was actually real, moments that make you think of the amazing energy in the world and the flow of life.
