ABOUT ME

SIDE NOTE: I just just heard about this wonderful site today. I have already left my home in the US and cant get the verification. However, if it helps I can provide copies of my passport and US Drivers license.

Let's see... I just graduated from school in the US (California ) and Zipped over to China. I am currently in Shenzhen working at a QSI school as an IE teacher. I am the oldest of 5 children and love to teach and learn. I am traveling AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE until I go back to the states in January.

PHILOSOPHY

I must do everything possible to live. Living to die is the worst kind of life.

I am battling an eternal struggle of loving to eat and not wanting to be fat.. mostly because I hate shopping and don't want to buy new clothes -.-

I love to volunteer where ever I am.. It helps me learn about the people and the culture. I am an equestrian and book worm, I sing in the shower and I have always been and will always be a shutter bug.

Traveling is my passion.. I refuse to be that American that has no idea what the outside world is doing. I must know! I must learn! I must travel!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't ever done any Couchsurfing.. Actually I only just heard of it as I've been in China. One of my fellow teachers suggested I try it while I explore on Christmas break. So here I am!!!

Interests

XBOX, Tea, Hookah, Anything in the Water, anything involving Halloween (little late I know but still)Movies in the Park, Christmas decorations in the city, Animals of any kind...

Music! Live or records. Cooking! Eating or going out! Teaching! And learning.. Especially from children. :) Motorcycles! riding or working on my own. Sleeping.. Yeah.. Just sleeping. Drinking! I am learning my wines (slowly) but I am a Rum girl at heart

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I lived in Canada as a child I lived in the middle of nowhere and naturally the only thing to do is to explore the vast nothingness of Canada. My friends and I were trampling through the woods and stumbled upon an ADORABLE baby moose. This long legged baby looked at us and we looked at it and it was a beautiful moment.... Until the mother Moose came up on us and was quite unhappy with our presence. She chased us forever. It was terrifying, and the was the day I'll never forget when I got chased by a moose.
