One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing moments I have had was when I visited London. I went to see the archaeological site of the Rose Theater, the theater where Shakespeare first put on his plays. We were standing on the right hand side facing the stage. The tour guide told our group that this was the exact location of the box seats where the playwright often sat and watched his plays being rehearsed. I found it absolutely incredible that I was standing in the exact spot where Shakespeare once stood watching his masterpieces being performed.

Another moment that I will never forget was when I was living in Philadelphia. I had always wanted to go skydiving but never really had the guts to do it. One day one of my friends called me up and said that we had the opportunity to go but it was tomorrow. I made the quick decision to do it. Without telling anyone, I woke up early the next morning, drove to the location, hopped on a plane, and then jumped out of it. Skydiving was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. Everyone tells you what a rush it is but no one tells you what its like after you pull the parachute. It was the most deafening silence I have ever heard in my entire life. Such a loud moment of frenzy followed by absolute quiet. I'd love to do it again some day!
