ABOUT ME

Addicted to information about anything and everything and I find too many things interesting.
I'm a History major, focusing in Comparative Colonialism, because it allows me to jump around and learn about different continents.
I am studying Arabic...I love it. It is challenging but I hope to learn more, possibly through this site.

PHILOSOPHY

Too young to have one, and always will be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Madurai, India in Tamil Nadu. I saw my uncle get married in a temple (he had lived there for a long time).I traveled to a rain forest in Kerala. I taught English at a small after school program for women for a week. I documented children of parents with Leprosy at a YWCA in order to help with fund raising. I still have a copy of it. It is the most important thing I've done. Before I went, I raised over a $1,000 for aid relief because of the Tsunami. I donated it to a really small organization called Land for Tillers Freedom (LAFTI). Please visit their site. I visited their headquarters-very progressive.
