ABOUT ME

Friendly 27-years-old italian girl who loves travelling.

I love this town and I'm always willing to help foreign people discovering it. It is a sort of two-way exchange of information, because in your guidebooks I always find things that local people generally don't know ;) then I use them to look cultured with colleagues or other couchsurfers, haha.

I'd like to be always on the road, unfortunately in this period of my life I am stuck in my hometown working and studying, that's the reason why I try to balance out meeting people from all over the world in my spare time.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn something new everyday.

I'm trying to turn myself 100%green. I think that environment is something we have to share and take care of. That's why I try everyday, step by step, to change my habits in a more ecological way.

I still didn't make a full decision about going vegetarian, but I am happy to talk about it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately the flat we are living in is so small that there is no room even on the floor to host people :(
But we like to hang out with people from all over the world, have a walk in the city center, drink a beer or two, listen to some live music or whatever.

I work from monday to friday in the historical centre, so it's better if we meet on weekends, but we could hang out anyway for a couple of hours in the evening or have lunch together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered CS right before leaving for a trip in Moscow , Russia. I met so many cool and lovely people there that I am GRATEFUL to CS for changing my way to travel.

Live music, playing piano or guitar, folk music, blues, rock'n roll, photography, hiking, bicycles, history, politics (not too much), everything about travelling. Vintage, homemade, second hands. Cooking, local traditions. On-the-road travels, foreign languages. Psychology and self-development.

I like hanging out for live concerts, I love expecially those taking place in peculiar places, by unknown people, with assorted public.. but only if they serve beer.

Once I was moving to a new house and I noticed that I own almost only clothes and books. Lots of heavy books, then I started to buy e-books: light to carry and suitable to be read on the pc at work while the boss is looking elsewhere (I know, I am evil)

I travelled all around Europe by train in 2008, arriving in Sweden overland passing through seven countries, it has been amazing!

I am studying russian, and I've been studying german. Put me on the test (but I am shy, maybe a drink could help)

I feel so uncomfortable when I visit a place without being capable to speak even a word in the local idiom.
Be sure I'll ask you to teach me at least ten words in your own language :)

I can tell you many things, oddities and things about the history/legends of Verona that I learnt from my family.

Would you like to try some tipical food? I know some cheap places where to have dinner. If I can manage, we could organize something at my place.
