Hi there! Im a student at Queen's University and I study Health and Global Development. I'm taking the year off to travel! I am a fun-loving, easy-going, person who loves the outdoors, meeting new people, and exploring new cities! I grew up in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. Our little town is nestled right in the Rocky Mountains, so I do a lot of hiking!

I am really interested in meeting new people in the places that I travel. One of my favourite parts of travelling is getting to know the local culture and history. There is often no better way to learn about these than through a local :D

I love exploring new places, getting to know the local culture and history. I love a day of sight seeing and museums! I also love adventuring and trying new things. I enjoy almost anything! When I'm at home, I do a lot of hiking, camping and rock climbing. I love the outdoors!

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy basically all kinds of music out there, with very few exceptions.
As for movies and books, I love when they can make you laugh, feel, think, or learn. Currently watching the tv show "The 100" on Netflix, and reading a book called "Damed Nations: Greed, Guns, Armies, and Aid" by Samantha Nutt. That book is very thought provoking!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I had the opportunity to teach health education curriculum to students in a remote community in Northern Canada. The limited resources there, as well as a lack of focus on health curriculum made our programming extremely useful and effective. This was an amazing experience for me, as I got to know the kids and other community members quite well. The locals really immersed me in their culture and community!
