I am a recent college grad with a passion for traveling, I have traveled to or through most countries in Europe and a few in Southeast Asia with my two best friends: my sister and my backpack, but these days, I want to explore the contiguous 48. Other than that, I love basketball, hiking, sand volleyball, ping pong tournaments, soccer, procrastinating and really any sort of sport-activity. I also love to cook and have been occasionally known to sing and play the guitar. I take life's many adventures seriously, but not myself. I mostly enjoy being with friends and laughing at my own dad jokes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and explore on a budget. I have a habit of going on last minute adventures, and that combined with being a broke college student has made me appreciate the true value of travel: the people and place.

Music, Movies, and Books

While picking a favorite genre of music is nearly impossible because I think it totally depends on the mood you are in, I would say I am more of an old soul. I like CCR and Johnny Cash, but I am also a huge Jack Johnson fan, and dabble in country. Really anything that is catchy and not too long!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, and I love to cook for people. I also play the guitar, although I don't usually bring it with me. I like to talk, so stories, games, bad jokes/puns, and a positive attitude are all things I bring to the table.
