I am a bubbly young English woman who loves languages, history, culture, politics and good food!

I am big on travelling but I prefer to live places for a little while to really get to know the culture and the people- I hope to spend my life living in different countries and learning different languages.

I am an urbanist and cities writer and researcher, concerned with civic engagement, digital social innovation, collective intelligence, sustainable urbanism and urban environmental justice and sustainability. I will be taking a masters next year in urbanism and hope to one day be somebody who helps to make our cities the best places they can be for both people and the planet!

I have GREAT taste in music - get ready guys...

I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh; I also love to cook all different types of cuisine so will be a great guest!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to get to know more people from around the world and continue to practise my current languages and learn more! I currently live in Barcelona but I have lived in Cambridge, London, Manchester and Paris, and am hoping to move to a new place soon!

I am new to Couchsurfing so do not yet have any references (I know, sorry) but I hope to get some soon - I hope that my linkedin can reassure you that I do exist/am nice though!

I am coming to Amsterdam for a month from mid-July to mid-August to do a course in research methodologies and I would like to live with a local/somebody who has lived in Amsterdam for a while and really get to the city and its culture - and maybe even learn some Dutch if I can! I don't want to just live in someone's house or in student accommodation, I would like to make new, lifelong friends and really contribute to the city myself!
