About Me

I flew as far as I could from home with a one way ticket and no idea where I'll be tomorrow.

I use couchsurfing because I believe one of the most rewarding parts of travelling is getting to live a thousand different lives, becoming close with people who's world is so different from your own, and learning to appreciate the differences from place to place.

I love connecting with people and learning as much as I can, whether it be new skills, a language, or just another way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for some new friends away from my home to have some adventures with!

Through couchsurfing I have managed to find friends that I've travelled with through entire countries,
I also spent over a week sailing the Croatian coast thanks to couchsurfing. It has proven to be a wonderful way to meet some great people.

I want the chance to connect with others and to share a little part of what makes me and my own culture special.

Interests

I love to be outdoors, whether it's hiking, kayaking, sailing, or swimming. I usually feel most at home in the mountains.

I also love to cook (which is a great hobby when you work as a chef), I try to learn as many different recipes as I can while I travel, finding new flavours and new stories within food. It's one of the greatest connectors of people.. you don't need to speak the same language to enjoy a good meal!

I love cooking with others, and would love to learn from you some of the foods from your country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eating dolphin, whale, and fermented meats in the Faroe Islands. I lived with a family for a few months who would hunt and process their own foods, including some of those that may not be eaten in large parts of the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I appreciate deep, meaningful conversations, and sharing time together as strangers that become friends.
