Overview
About Me
I'm from Portland, Oregon, USA. I recently graduated from Portland State University with my Bachelor of Science in Communication. In between finishing school and finding something more permanent for work, I have been fortunate enough to set aside three months for traveling parts of Europe!
I grew up in Portland which is a small city but growing quickly. While I was finishing school I worked in retail and when that ended I became a part-time nanny for a local family.
I love spending time with my family and close friends but also enjoy getting to know new people. Some things I enjoy doing are going to the beach, snowboarding during the winter, discovering new restaurants with different types of food, and I can never turn down a good glass of wine. I have never been much of a reader but now that I am finished with school I have started to enjoy it much more.
I haven't been able to travel much before this but I am looking forward to exploring different cities and cultures. I would consider my personality to be fairly easygoing. I love getting to know people and sharing stories with one another. I am clean, responsible, and try to be very aware of my surroundings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I will be traveling throughout Germany, France, Italy and Spain between October- December. I have a friend who lives in Madrid and I have been fortunate enough to stay with her for awhile. I arrived in Spain in early September and spent one month working on a farm near Segovia through the WWOOFing program. I am now back in Madrid for a few weeks and then I will begin my travels in late October.
While I love meeting fellow travelers, I like the fact that couch surfing allows you to meet locals and see how they live. For me, one of the coolest things about traveling is seeing how people's lifestyles can differ so much from one another, yet we all have so many things in common. I am looking forward to exploring these differences while discovering what brings us together.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music changes from day to day, but I think you can never go wrong with Michael Jackson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would say working on an organic farm in Spain is at the top of the list! I was able to meet so many wonderful people in such a short amount of time from all over the world. They taught me so many things that I never anticipated learning during my time there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation! I am slowly but surely learning to cook... I don't think I have much to share (yet) but I am happy to try.
