Hello! I'm an American from Washington D.C. I just finished a master's in international policy and am traveling for a month through the Caucuses and Turkey. I have a cat, and I love reading, hiking, yoga, swing dancing, museums, and of course traveling! My Turkish isn't very good, but I can speak a little bit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I studied Turkish in college and lived in Izmir and Istanbul for six months in 2016. I've always wanted to come back and explore the East, which seems so interesting and beautiful! I have never used Couchsurfing before, but I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, and learning about their lives, so I thought Couchsurfing would be the best way to do that!
