ABOUT ME

My couchsurfing experience started off in South Korea where I was teaching English to kids who could not quite grasp the difference between 'r' and 'l' (unfortunate really seeing as I have 2 L's in my name). Since then I've been back in the UK working in digital marketing. Looking to go back to University soon for a change of career as a Physiotherapist.

I'm a positive, active person and love to meet strangers, go on a crazy adventure and do cool unusual things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, I've been coachsurfing but haven't had a place of my own to host. However, I'd love to show people around London- it's an incredible city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All extremely positive, I've met some wonderful people. Such a great concept.

Interessi

I enjoy climbing, snacking, afternoon naps, hot baths, cold dips in the sea, chess, mangoes and kiwis, diving, smiles from old people, cute animals and children, and the urban dictionary. I do not like extreme cold, going hungry, fussy people or canned tuna.

Musica, film e libri

Shawshank Redemption, Pianist, Grave of the Fireflies... despite being a happy go lucky type of person most of the time, I find that I prefer to watch movies of a serious subject matter involving history, raw emotion or drama.

Beatles, Mumford & Sons, the Killers, Florence & the Machine.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Skydived over Fox Glacier. Slept under the stars in the Sahara Desert. 10 hour night time hike up Sri Pada to see dawn break. Night scuba dive at the northern tip of Sumatra and surfaced to see an amazing lightening show.

Insegna, impara, condividi

Rock climbing- I have a big interest in this, usually top rope climbing.
Language exchange- I guess I know a little about teaching English since I spent a year teaching it in Korea.

I'd love to learn the guitar.
