I recently moved to Los Angeles after completing my Bachelor's degree in Theater and Visual Arts in New York City.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and learn their customs and to have the opportunity to see new places through the eyes of locals.

My close, trusted friend Lexie is a big advocate of Couchsurfing! She's had so many wonderful experiences and insists it's the best way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical preferences change depending on my mood! I like to listen to rap when I'm getting ready to go out with friends, 90s alt-rock when I'm feeling angsty and jazz standards sung by Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and Lena Horne when I'm driving or walking around by myself.

I love really good movies, but not as much as how I love really really bad ones. My favorite movie is Better Off Dead starring John Cusack. It still makes me laugh as hard as it did ten years ago.

I have a horrible habit of reading four or five books at once... I can't help myself! But I probably spend most of my time reading plays, as I'd like to pursue a career in directing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and I got very lost while hiking this summer and successfully found our way to safety. I think what "amazed" me was our ability to stay calm and think rationally while under pressure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned that there is no greater feeling than experiencing a random act of kindness from a stranger. It's a sure way to spread positivity in the world :)
