About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying Philosophy at University, and this has certainly aided my curiosity about life. I want to see how others live their lives; how we are different and how we are similar. We've only been given so much time, and I want to make the most of it. I want to see the world as I want to see where I fit in to it.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an atheist.

Interests

I'm a musician. I've been playing guitar since I was 8 years old, and have been writing my own songs and performing them for the past few years around various venues in London and England.

I'm also a keen photographer, having studied it at an art school in London, and being hired to take photographs. It's a huge interest of mine and I'm rarely ever without a camera.

I also like to draw, though many will tell you that what I draw is not exactly conventional - I much prefer the surreal than the realistic.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
I am very much inclined to all kinds of music, my favourite genres being reggae, dub and anything chilled.
One of my favourite films is Amelie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did some volunteer teaching at a school in Ghana when I was 17, which to this date is one of the best things I've ever done in my life. What I learnt whilst out there will stay with me forever, and I hope to return one day soon.

I travelled around South East Asia throughout the summer of 2011, seeing six different countries in just over two months. It was some of the most fun I've ever had and an amazing experience, one which I hope to experience again and again in the many different countries all over the world.

Last year I did the West Highland Way which is a 100km trek from Glasgow to Fort William in Scotland. It took 5 days in mostly horrible conditions and with a 16 kilo bag on my back. It is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but also the most rewarding, as the Scottish Highlands are beautiful, and one of my favourite places on this Earth.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, France, Ghana, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Malaysia, Morocco, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
