I'm currently on a year out, and have until recently been travelling with two girls around the states. We were all pretty new to couch surfing when we started and we've had the most amazing experiences through it! Though my friends have now gone home, I plan to continue my travels alone and hope to make many more great connections in many more amazing places. We are all keen to be able return the favour to all of the people who've hosted us if and when they ever choose to come to the UK. I am an art student, super friendly and laid back and grateful for any kind of roof over my head!

I'm fascinated by the American culture - having grown up in the U.K. it has been something I have been exposed to constantly through films, tv etc but at the same time it is so alien. I want to soak up as much of it as possible during my time here

I love 90s hip hop - Tribe called quest, mos def, lauryn hill, the fugees etc. I also love Bob Dylan, pink floyd, the smiths, Bruce Springsteen, Amy winehouse...I have a slightly embarrassing love for Paul Simon, and I am a jungle & drum n bass fan. It's a fairly eclectic music taste but I always love discovering music from people
