My name is Lily. I am a Berkeley native, 29 and female. Professionally I am a certified preschool teacher but aspire to be an urban planner.
Although I am a teacher, I have recently taken a hiatus to spend more time working with nonprofits that do community development work.

I garden, practice yoga, bike for day-long stretches, and catch concerts when possible. I enjoy traveling as well and have lived in Brazil twice. If I had to choose between the moon and an extended stay in another country I would get on a plane, not a rocket. Living in another society has been, in my experience, just as strange and mind blowing as I imagine an extraterrestrial sabbatical would be.
In terms of education, I have a bachelor’s from UC Davis in community and regional development, am versed in Permaculture, and have worked as an environmental educator teaching natural building to youth. In general, I love to work and live embedded in communities that challenge me to expand my world view and skill set.
