ABOUT ME

I studied Fine Arts and Photography, and after 5 years spent learning and working ( and partying I have to be honest!) in the UK (lived in Brighton, worked in London) I got back in Paris 6 years ago where I had a bit of a change of career; I now work freelance designing textiles, and I love it!
I don't know if that says a lot about me...so let's see what else... I love hiking, although don't get to do it that much, love being outdoor, in the mountains or by the sea..but enjoy the urban life as well very much: cinemas, galleries, clubs, bars, nice restaurants, dinner parties at my friend's places with lots of wine..mmm...I love music (who doesn't?): if I am at the workshop I listen to various styles, electro, and folksy, or jazzy stuff even classical sometimes - If I'm home I can enjoy a bit of hip-hop too...
I read a lot - I love walking around with my camera - I love my computer and am totally addicted to Internet. Of course, when I am travelling I forget all about it and enjoy the people I meet and the adventures I have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By opening my flat and giving my trust to complete strangers, on the basis that the world would be a much better place if more people were to do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had so many of my friends staying on my couch since I live in Paris that I was doing the CS thing without knowing it..
I have not had that many CS at my place but have been very lucky so far...lovely, interesting people with an open mind and polite manners.
I am planning to go to New york soon so if I go on my own then I'll probably use CSing to meet people and get some tips about the city.
I also would love to go to Sweden, Danemark, Norway, Finland as well for a long week end and it would be nice to meet people to spend some time with and who could show me around a little...
I'll be very happy to show you around Paris and cook a nice meal for a french evening !

I have fasted for a week- (with a 5 hours hike per day!)
yep, no food AT ALL, just water and herbal tea...(It's actually much easier than one's think.)

My dad's a wine maker, so I can share some wine with you (since I always have a few bottles around evidently !)
I can teach you how to cook a quiche ( but that's sooo easy).
