ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing and friendly person, and I love meeting people and experiencing new cultures and ways of life. I'm adventurous and spontaneous, and relish taking the unexplored route. As a guest, I try and be out and about as much as possible, but if you want to join me for the ride, you're more than welcome.

I love to cook and eat, so maybe we can either cook together or go out to your favorite place? I love to be outside soaking in the fresh air during the day, but there's no better way to end an evening than being surrounded by interesting and fun people, drinking wine or throwing back beers and laughing our heads off.

My housemate in Santa Cruz hosted some surfers last summer and they were lovely people. We showed them a great time.

Interests

Cooking is my favorite hobby, and I'm always down to grab a bite. I like to hike, ride my bike, go on long exploratory walks and snap a few photos on the way. I'm a History grad from UC Santa Cruz, and am not afraid to 'get my nerd on' when the occasion calls for it, and do something wacky and different.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I have Twin Shadow, M83 and SBTRKT on repeat.
I usually have a book on hand. I'm currently reading War and Peace, but I'm cutting it with Vonnegut and the newest Walking Dead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wine tasting at 10am in Beaune, France, in an an ancient underground candlelit cellar before hopping the train to Paris is a favorite memory. The bay in San Sebastian in Northern Spain is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen, as are the displays of tapas. But I'll never tire of constantly changing and inspiring beauty of the west coast. I'll always remember the roadtrip up HWY 1 and into Portland I took a few years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty decent cook, and would be happy to make a kick ass brunch or dinner or late night snack. I'm easy to hang out with, and I'll probably get along with your friends. Most importantly, once I make it back to Santa Cruz I'll be happy to host you and show you my beautiful home and the great people that live there.
