Hi, I'm Linda and just finished my pre-college degree in Germany. Currently, i'm taking a gap year to get more experiences in life, see different cultures and get to know myself better to take some serious decision for university when i get home! :)

I'm kind of a philosoph but i also like to laugh, lets just say, i'm easily entertained.
I could go into my geek modus and talk with you about comic books, marvel movies, missing Hogwarts accepting letters and marching band or i take my backpack and jump with you into the next adventure, to climb the highest mountain, jump off a cliff and surf the wildest wave!
So, i enjoy staying at home, watching movies, having drinks and talk about the universe but i also enjoy to just get out there and experience the real life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

AS A TRAVELER

We had a great experience with couchsurfing so far! My friend and I stayed with a couple of guys after we came back from New Zealand. It was so amazing, because we made REALLY good friends and had such a good time, which i will never forget, it truly made the whole trip to a way better experience.
I'm really flexible and easy going, as long as i find a place to sleep, i'm happy as Nemo after finding Marlin! I'm more than happy to cook for you or clean, as i'm one of these weird people which enjoy cleaning and cooking (yeah i know → weirdo) but i'm also great fun, so i promise you wont get bored with me because i have always a good story to share!

AS A HOST

Since i've had such a great experience to stay at others homes, i want to host others in regard and want to make some amazing friends!
I'm more than happy to show you around Hannover and take you out with me, if you like. For more information have a look at 'my home' :)

Interests

There is almost nothing i'm not interested in. The world is a mystrious and i want to solve it! - alright, i'm kidding here, i think that we don't always need anwers, sometimes the question is the answer but i do like to have some deep conversations like that.

Main interests are: Music, Sport and Art.

I love music, i play 9 different instruments, i'm in an orchestra in germany, i compose my own songs and always need music around me. Music gives me alot, couldn't live without it. So, obviously i love to go to concerts or festivals!

I'm not myself if i can't do Sport. I love to hike, run, swim, box, do whatever to push myself to the limit and experience my body. I think that sport is not only good for your anatomy health but especially for your mind. It sets you free and helps me to work with my subconscious.
Goal - I'm working on my green bandage for Tae Bo at the moment.

Art. Ok, this is for me the biggest topic because for me, art is not just a picture or a dance or whatever, i see art in so many vessels, in so many scenes in so many parts of our life. To be honest, this is something, which i can't even put in words but i might turn this in to a conversation after a few drinks :b

Music, Movies, and Books

There is a huge huge range! I would call myself a geek, so, yes, i know all the Hobbit books and movies, just as well as Harry Potter and other Stuff.
I love Marvel comics and action movies, but also good comedy movies. Honestly... I'm probably just a geek, hah :D
But next to this crazyness, i do enjoy other good movies. It always depends on my mood but i guess i'm a huge fan of movies from: Robin William, RDJ, Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger and Jude law. I'm also kind of into english literature, so i do enjoy classic plays from bbc or the royal theatre.
Talking of bbc... i'm a whovian. Sorry not sorry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling. And i think people which travelled know what is meant.
It's the thrilled feeling, the joy you get, the panic attacks during your trip, you worries and reliefs, the good and bad days, the adventures and boring minutes, it's all that and so much more. It's something, for everyone individuell and special but we all keep wanting to see more of the world.

Otherwise... caving in a glowworm cave in waitomo, New Zealand, this was such a great adventure aaaand standing infront of 70thousand pleople at the lucas oil stadium in Indianapolis, USA with the Raider marching band... yeah, these were like the best memories i have!

Teach, Learn, Share

Because of my Exchange student year in america i learned alot about culture and one of the greatest things for me is to see how people work in different places! It is such a great experience to talk to people all over the world and to learn how they look at the world.
I would love to teach and share my stories with you, i'm also quiet a musician person so i might be able to play you a song on my ukulele, hah :p

As before mentioned, i would love to share with my host as much as i can, as i'm more than thankful for the nice gesture of yours!

I laugh alot, sometimes to much... i'm easily entertained but i would enjoy good talks, about things you saw and want to see. Philosophy is one thing i could talk weeks about and i love to share my knowledge and stories.
If you allow, i play or sing for you on my ukulele or any other instrument you have as i can play nine different instruments.
Also i'm a cleaning freak, i actually enjoy cleaning, so i do like to help around the household if that is ok with you and also i like to cook and people told me that my food is quite good, so don't be afraid hah :D
