I am an adventurous person that loves to travel and meet other travelers and locals. I am a foodie and for me the best part of traveling besides meeting great people is to try new foods. I went to culinary school for Pastry Arts and at the moment I am in college studying Nutrition. I m a very open minded person that can adjust easily to new places and situations. I enjoy outdoor activities and being out in nature specially in farms and small towns. I also enjoy the big city life with all the exciting options that they offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing with other people that kindly offer their space to strangers in exchange of just meeting new people and having new experiences. I have friends that have been CS hosts and guests and they convinced me by sharing their stories. I have hosted strangers just by causality (not through any site) and also being hosted by strangers in my travels where I had good experiences and sweet memories that had end up in long time friendships. It is a great feeling to meet people that are genuinely kind and willing to share their space or knowledge. I appreciate these qualities in people and CS is a good way to promote this philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of music, specially world music, ethnic and traditional music from different parts of the world. I love old school salsa, funk, reggae hip hop any think that makes my body move (looove dancing) I also like chill music like soul and electronic lounge. I love to watch independent movies, documentaries and also really silly and ridiculous movies that make me laugh. I enjoy reading medieval novels and books based on true stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have left every thing I owned and move to a new state only with a few pieces of clothes and started a new life, I actually have done it a few times, its a great feeling of freedom mixed with fear and excitment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you spanish and portuguesse and also I can teach you to cook, I am a flexitarian so I like to cook all kinds of food. I can teach you to dance salsa,merengue and samba!! I love to hear stories so I would love to hear yours. I like to learn languages and basically I am open to learn any thing from any one who is wiling to share any knowledge.
