About Me

Hi there! There are so many thing to say 'About Me' and this is why I love couchsurfing.

It gives you the chance to learn more about other people and their cultures. I'm from Germany, but left home after school to travel (a lot in Australia) and then I started my Bachelor studies in Geography and Sociology in Scotland (Aberdeen). I finished my education there in spring 2019 and lived in an ecovillage for several months. I am involved in transition projects, permaculture gardening and the global ecovillage network (if you don't know these things but are curious just message me!).

Now, I'm moving around, meeting new friends and exploring places. I am striving for a wholistic lifestyle in nature and would love to learn how others do so (or don't...). So I decided to go on a long journey from Germany to Asia via land. Yes, a long trip. But I have time and curiosity (and hopefully a couch every now and then).

I'm a ginger girl, always positive, enthusiastic, creative and open minded. I'm a passionate cook (Vegetarian and vegan food) and I love art in any form (music, painting, theater). In my free time I do some Yoga, swimming, modern dance and I love writing and drawing in my travel books.

I'd describe myself as balanced and organized but at the same time spontaneous and active. I prefer nature over cities and traveling over being stuck at the same place for too long. I like to take my time for deep talks and appreciate beautiful moments in life. Hope to share some with you;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best opportunity to not just be a tourist but get involved in local life and meet amazing people. The exchange between international people and a worldwide network really fascinates me.

Music, Movies, and Books

It always depends on my mood. I love music when it's authentic, as well as literature and poetry. Don't watch a lot of TV as I'd rather see reality. I am currently learning to play the guitar and used to play the flute for some years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling, me and my friend worked for a family on a small farm in South Australia. We had to look after Kangoroo orphans and feed them with bottles of milk. We became their parents which was the most wonderful feeling ever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, enthusiasm about life, passion for food and cooking, exchange of ideas and world views. Also, I have experience with giving some workshops on body work, emotional management and sustainability topics. So, hopefully a fun and inspiring time together:)
