I think couchsurfing is a great idea for travelling cheap, getting to know the city from a local point of view and also meeting new people!
Travelling is such a great expierience and I love to help people make their travelling expierience better by hosting them! And I also like to travel myself and really enjoyed using couchsurfing for it. :)
