I'm a student from the university of Osnabrück in the Master of Education program (French / Geography) and currently I'm studying in the beautiful city Québec. I really like playing theatre and in Germany I'm in two theatre groups - one in French from my university and the other in German with friends from my old school. Otherwise I enjoy watching tv series and movies especially horror movies with my boyfriend, superhero movies with my brother or Disney movies with my younger cousins.
I love meeting up with friends and family to talk about old times and new expierences. I started fencing when I was about 8 years old and until now it still plays and important part even if I'm not that active anymore like five years ago. Before I left for Canada I tried playing rugby and in Canada I took ice skating classes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From August 2016 to Mai 2017, I am studying in Québec and during that time, I would love to see more of Canada and the United States. It is always amazing to meet new people and get to know different cultures, places and lifestyles, and in my opinion the best way to do so is through locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
It really depends on my mood what I like listening to. It can vary from Electro Swing to Rock to Classic and from time to time I love to sing along to Musical songs with all of my heart and the worst singing voice ever (my mom even forbid me to sing at home because I'm such a bad singer). At the moment I'm listening a lot to Bastille, Ed Sheeran, Husdson Taylor, Mumford & Sons, Passenger, The Lumineers and a lot of German singer-songwriters.

Movies / TV series:
For me it’s difficult to narrow down my favourites, because there are so many things I like to watch (and rewatch). Probably, “The Beauty and the Beast”, “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Notebook” are the movies I watched the most. When it comes to TV series, I really watch anything – Modern Family, Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds and and and …

Books:
My number one favorite book series is (and will always be) Harry Potter and I'm reading it every year at least one time.

However, I am open to learn about your interests and would love if you could recommend me your favourite books, movies or music artists because I would love to give them a try

I would love to learn more about your lifestyle and your interests! Perhaps you can tell me a little bit about your culture and give me a recommendation what to see or where to eat.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I can share with other people except German lessons. Even if I love to eat, I'm not good at cooking, but I mastered a handful of recipes that are eatable and sometimes even enjoyable! Since I was a child I loved baking and my grandmother teached me a lot of different recipes for delicious cookies and cakes (and I'm definitely better in baking than in cooking).
