I love to spend time in nature, hiking - in particular with the goal of summitting the highest point in each state: 10 down, 42 to go! I've enjoyed traveling to see friends and family, wherever they are in the world; from New Zealand and Australia, to Europe and beyond.

Recently, I accomplished a lifetime goal, of hiking to Macchu Pichu; it only took me 30 years to reach that goal.

I'm a mother of two children, whom I've brought up to appreciate the world. I've taught them it's not about the things that you own, but the things that you do and the people you do them with.
