I'm originally from Northern California where my parents were teachers. I am the fifth of five children. I began studying voice at the age of 14 and I've been singing ever since. In high school and college I played on the tennis team. I was involved in vocal and instrumental music. I attended Cal State University Northridge and eventually transferred to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In 1995 I moved to Seattle and recently lived in Phoenix, Arizona for a year and a half. I have been in many productions consisting of opera, orchestra, concerts and recitals. When not performing my other passions are Christianity, skiing, tennis and hiking. I enjoy strenuous outdoor sports and fine arts.
