Hi!
- I was born and raised in Chengdu, China, a beautiful city in southwest China where pandas come from!
- I'm studying for my bachelor's degree at Pomona College in Los Angeles, studying linguistics and international relations. I just spent 6 months living in Barcelona for an exchange program as well as an internship in UX/UI design.
- Travelling and interacting with people from different backgrounds made me understand that there is more than one way to approaching life and making sense of the world. Talking to locals and hearing about their experiences also help me understand how the big political theories I learned in class can impact people's daily lives. I'm always down to discuss international political issues.
- I spend probably too much time watching and attending soccer/football games. For me, soccer/football is a universal language that can instantly unite people.
- I'm a big language nerd, and I love learning about how history and culture could shape languages.

I heard about Couchsurfing from a friend who's made memorable friendships through this platform. As a traveller, I always love to meet with locals and learn about a city through their eyes. There are still so many amazing places in the world that I haven't been to, stories I have not yet heard and cultures and perspectives that I have not yet encountered. Therefore, I'm very eager to try out CS, meet with a local and explore my next destination through their eyes.
