About Me

Work in Maputo

HI! OLÁ! HELLO! Originally from Sweden, but I live in Norway. I work as a professionally dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. In practise this means very little money but a lot of joy, I think I'm actually living my life just the way I want it.

Last year I lived in Maputo, Mozambique and that was amazing, I love that country! I was teaching dance at the University there. I've totally fallen in love with the culture of southern Africa.

THIS IS ME: I'm always on my way...seeing new countries. I'm a vegetarian but I don't mind if you're not. Im a believer and a doer. LOVE traveling! Photography is also a big interest. I am a very thankful person, not taking everything for granted. I love walking slowly in the woods. I like drinking from big glasses and eating dessert with long spoons. I would like to take a french course and learn the basics, because it sounds both sensual and sofisticated. I love pinguins, they are just amazing and very special creatures. I love intresting facts about odd animals. I love the sun and the summer.

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST: I'm not here to find a love partner. I want new friends :P

I believe in God and I believe that his only son Jesus died for our sins, so that we can have eternal life. And that's just amazing really. I try to see the good in all people and I try to stay positive.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

While I go travelling I love meeting up with new people. I want new friends that wants to show me places where the locals go, not just tourist attractions. At the moment I dont have a couch to share, but probably in the future.

I met up with a girl called Sofia when I first arrived in Maputo and we became good friends.

I also couch surfed when I was in South Africa and I had such a good time with a guy called Zubair, we really had fun together!

Dance, photography, sushi, travelling, God, learning new words and languages. Trying to learn more about filming. House parties. Chocolate cake. Just enjoying life and taking my time.
