If you want to fish on the dock, go get water straight from the river to drink (or make a soup from it)and many other things and not do the typical tourist thing in Iceland the right place for you is Ólafsfjörður! Me and my boyfriend offer a bedroom for you and opportunity to experience a real small town Icelandic culture :) It's around 40 minutes from Akureyri! Stay in touch :D
