我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I have been traveling/working in Europe these past few months I haven't actually had the opportunity to host any surfers yet. However, I have experienced couch surfing myself in several places, and all of the experiences have been so amazing and completely different! When I return back home to Canada I will definitely have my doors open for Couch Surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As for now, i have surfed around Spain and Europe a bit, but I definitely want to continue having new experiences in different places! Apart from surfing I have also attended some CS events and gatherings. I have met some of the most amazing and interesting people through CS. The thing I love about the CS community is that it is not at all about simply finding a free place to sleep, but rather it is a way to meet new people, and share and create new experiences together.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I fully open my eyes to the mystery and magic of nature and the entire universe, everything is incredible to me. The moments I cherish most in my life are ones spent outdoors surrounded by undisturbed nature. I could go on and on with the amazing things I have seen or experienced, but here are a few:
*Swimming on a starry peaceful night while surrounded by phosphorescence
*hiking through a still burning forest fire (not intentionally).
*Experiencing an "Arribada" in Costa Rica, where hundreds of turtles came ashore the same beach all at once to lay their eggs.
*Coming in close contact with a cougar and its cubs.
*the world :)
