ABOUT ME

My name is Linden Scholes and I am a medical student from Tasmania. Currently living in Holland but am tantalised by any opportunity to scoot across to new places. I have an uncanny affinity to embarrassing dance moves and WILL bring them out. I spend a lot of my time in the water because I grew up next to the salt filled sea breeze in the south of Tasmania, so always up for a splash with people.

I think couch surfing is a great community. So often you hear stories of people that decide they cannot travel because maybe they cannot afford it or they are nervous about being in a different place with no knowledge of it. Couchsurfing is the remedy to these stories. Meeting new people is always a great experience, so to be able to do that, snag some local knowledge of what to do, share some great banter together and be able to stay in someones home (which I feel is such a great gesture) is a great reason to couchsurf!

兴趣

My interests seem to change from time to time but in the past and now I have partaken in various musical instruments, bushwalking is a good time, photography and art are my pestle and mortar as both my parents are artists (a writer and a film maker). I have a fascination with learning about pretty much anything in the world depending on where my passion lies. I like to think I am a social one and love spending time with my friends and family. I also like to learn languages (currently I have studied swahili, french, german and Japanese)

I have a few sides I like to have a dance so music like (Zhu, The xx, Bonobo, MIA) are great. Then when I feel like a relaxing time or some study then I listen to classical music or music like (Jack Johnson, Bon Iver, Tycho)

Movies are a life blood for me, I have watched so many, of all different genres depending on my mood. Too many to list but I do like (The King's Speech, Good Will Hunting, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The 100 Year Old Man, Shaun of the Dead, The Blair Witch Project, Skyfall.)
