Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people. Most hostels or backpackers - the only thing I can afford being a student and traveling alone - tend to be filled with international tourists. Although it is always fun meeting people from all over the world, I live in a tourist hub and cosmopolitan city so I don't need to travel to find that. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people from the country I am traveling to.
