I am taking a year off from working and being a responsible adult- Traveling the world, seeing new places, learning about myself.... It will be a grand adventure! I spent 6 years working at a great company,and when it started getting less great I ran off to South America. I'm making the rest of it up as I go along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done much of this before, but it seems like a really great way to meet new people - especially the locals where I'm travelling, as well as take some of the pressure off of finding a hostel I enjoy.

Interests

I danced performance and competition salsa for two years, and while I'm out of practice I look for good salsa dancing everywhere I go. I love everything outdoors, too - Rock and ice climbing, mountains, running, hiking, cycling... meeting people, escaping people, reading, coffee, wine... And of course, travel!

I spent seven weeks sailing on the USCGC Barque Eagle through Scotland, England, Ireland, France and Portugal

Practicing English, travel stories... I'm a reasonably good cook! And I'll clean up after myself. I'd like to say I offer good company, in general :-)
